Goodest Girl Salsa Co. We sell home made salsa, produced from veggies home grown in Milwaukee, WI. We are now a WI non-stock corporation, with 501(c)(3) nonprofit status.

Our mission is to raise money to promote racial equity, assist those without housing, and for animal welfare. During the summer of 2020, in the midst of the Covid 19 pandemic, my dog Callie passed away suddenly. The loss of her during such a difficult time inspired me to raise money for the Wisconsin Humane Society. I spent the last few harvests from my small summer garden plot making my homemade

salsas and selling them to friends.Now in 2021 I'm hoping to expand my garden so I can produce more salsa to sell to the public at large! Our mission for 2021 is to create several dedicated garden plots for the charity, find local partners to assist in canning, and to expand our positive impacts. After a very difficult year, financially and emotionally, we find it is imperative to donate to local initiatives focused on racial equity and those in poverty in Milwaukee, in addition to our original mission of animal welfare.

Since 2020 we’ve been able to donate $3,870 to local Milwaukee charities by selling about 600 jars of locally produced salsa! Thanks to everyone for supporting us by snacking.

A big thank you to everyone who bought salsa in 2025!

We were able to make $230 donations to each of the following:

Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission (MADACC)
Pathfinders
We Got This Milwaukee

We sold over $900 of salsa, and after the costs of ingredients and jars all summer, had $740 of profit. $50 is reserved to start up operations again in 2026, and the remaining $690 was all donated.
