In our next step...we could use the help of anyone that has experience establishing an organization as a 501c3 non-profit. This is the long term (next 12 months) goal for A Million 4 Kids.

Things have been very quiet for us for the last 18 months as we have been working through some family things.

I am proud to announce that we are going to begin moving forward with A Million 4 Kids in a new capacity, focusing on supporting youth soccer and swimming and benefiting kids that need assistance.

Watch for details as we share programs, information and begin grassroots fundraising efforts to benefit kids that want to play soccer and swim competitively.

Great job by the K-5 kids at Spring Creek Church. The KidsCreek 252 group collected over $1,800 for Compassion Water Project. 23 families overseas will now be blessed with clean water thanks to their determination!

We've just announced our latest fundraising effort...the 2nd Million Penny Drive with 100% of money collected going to buy Christmas gifts for needy kids and families at the Milwaukee Rescue Mission. Donations accepted now thru Dec. 15. We are seeking local businesses willing to "host" coin collection boxes.

Sorry we have been gone for so long. After this hiatus, we are planning our next donation drive for the month of August. Looking for Milwaukee area organizations in need of school supplies (primarily K3-5th). More details soon.

Unfortunately we are canceling the planned charity event for this Sunday due to lack of sponsor support. We would like to thank Nelson's Automotive in Pewaukee for stepping up to help. Hopefully we can reschedule for another time.

Inspired by the story of Jacob (see below), A Million 4 Kids is planning a Pillow Pets 4 Kids charity event. Looking at 4-6 businesses interested in sponsoring this event which we hope will take place at the Milwaukee Wave's upcoming playoff game. Need to secure hospitality area by Saturday of this week to pull this off. Can you help?
