🎓 Congratulations, Class of 2026!

Last Thursday, We Energies Auditorium was filled with pride, joy, and plenty of cheers as we celebrated our graduates! A special thank-you to our keynote speaker, Representative Priscilla A. Prado, and our class speakers, Lissette, Terrence, and Marylin, for sharing your personal journeys so powerfully.

To our graduates: you set a goal, put in the work, and made it happen. We are incredibly proud of you and can’t wait to see where your next chapter takes you. ❤️📚
Keep learning. Keep growing. Keep going.

Read When You Can! 📚🤸🏿‍♂️

At MKE’s Biggest Free Library, the Milwaukee Flyers recreated an amazing stunt from a 1990 READ poster produced by the American Library Association. The original poster features the Jesse White Tumbling Team and includes LSW alumnus Charles Grant, wearing a red hat in the background.

Today, Charles is the leader of the Milwaukee Flyers and a new member of our Board of Directors!

Join us in celebrating the hard work, talent, and achievements of the Milwaukee Flyers! ❤️📚

As we continue reflecting on the legacy of Dolly Parton and her extraordinary commitment to literacy, we’re reminded of how powerful it is to put books directly into the hands of people in our communities.

That is what MKE’s Biggest Free Library is all about! Last Friday, we joined Barby The Book Fairy to give away thousands of free books and share the joy of reading with our community. ❤️

We’re grateful to FOX6 News Milwaukee for capturing the story and to everyone who helped make this year’s event such a success. Dolly showed us what can happen when we believe every child should have a book of their own. We’re proud to carry that spirit forward here in Milwaukee. 📖

Milwaukee's Biggest Free Library is tomorrow from 4-7 p.m. at Kosciuszko Community Center
