The Spooky Month is here! And October has many things on offer! Need a space to come and work with other creatives? Maybe you want to come in and type all your hopes and dreams on paper with a typewriter? Or spend an afternoon working in a cafe with other artists? All this and more! We hope to see you this month!

~ Coffee-n-Crafts at Haven Cafe
Sun the 5th, 3:00pm-5:00pm
Bring whatever craft, art piece, or manageable diy you are working on, all mediums and skills welcome!
Haven Cafe has a lovely menu of drinks, comfortable couches, spacious tables, and gender neutral bathrooms!

Come enjoy a space to work at the Shorewood Public Library with other creatives. Bring whatever you are currently working on!

~ Craft n’ Crafts at Juneau Park Beer Garden
Sat the 6th, 4:30pm-7:00pm
Bring a craft and have a craft drink at Juneau Beer Garden! Come chill and chat with your community as beer garden season closes out.

We’re gonna take pictures of bugs and rocks and grass and stuff. Bring a camera if you have one (phones count!)
Kris() will have a very limited supply of early 2000s point and shoot or film like cameras that can be borrowed for that nostalgic, crunchy photo feel.

Currently pursuing her BFA at UW-Milwaukee’s Peck School of the Arts, Sophie strives to produce work that can be easily imbued into daily life. She likes to consider the thought that through the generational inheritance and social exchanging of items like jewelry, coins, and keys, a vast multitude of lives indirectly intersect. Sophie’s hope is that when you wear her jewelry, you’ll be reminded to absorb both these indirect connections around you as well as the direct connection that the jewelry has to your own daily life.
