Our Community Resistance Songwriting workshop is NEXT MONDAY, April 13 and we still have a couple spots left! Don't miss this special evening of creativity and solidarity.

This lightly facilitated community workshop will center cultivating a supportive space to process, express, and transform emotions and experiences through songwriting within a supportive community. Light snacks will be served.

5:30-6:00: Arrival / Mingle
6:00: Welcome / Circle Opening
6:30: Collaborative Songwriting Exercise
7:00: Free Songwriting
8:00: Optional Performance
8:50: Circle Closing

While designed with adults in mind, accompanied teens are welcome. This is a mutual aid event and proceeds will benefit the Minneapolis Girls Rock program (She Rock She Rock) and Voces de la Frontera.

What an incredible, magical weekend we had a Ladies Rock Camp Session 1! So dang proud of every single one of these campers who showed up this weekend and absolutely shredded the stage at Radio Milwaukee last night.

Day 1 of Ladies Rock Camp in the books! 🤩 Campers started off the day with a songwriting workshop, had their first of just two (!) instrument instruction sessions, got a private performance and Q&A with local possumcore favorite Tea Service, picked their band names and started writing their songs at band practice, and chilled out with a sound bath to close the day! Introducing: 5CRAX, Midnight Sparkle, Ringlight, TBD, Realm, and Velcrows -- make sure to check them out at the 2026 Ladies Rock Camp: Session 1 Showcase this Sunday!!!

Eeeek Ladies Rock Camp Session 1 kicks off TONIGHT!! 30 campers. 6 bands. 1 incredible weekend.

Join us for the very special showcase performance on Sunday, where the brand new bands will make their debut! Each band will perform one *original song* they wrote over the weekend’s 3-day camp. Plus, we have special surprises up our sleeves!

Ladies Rock Camp is an intensive weekend creative retreat for women, trans and non-binary adults. Participants learn an instrument, join a band, write a song, and perform live at a public showcase at the end of the weekend. No musical experience is required!
