Recently, 14 students in our Green Bay Entry-Level Construction Skills program, hosted by Mavid Construction, wrapped up an exciting second week of learning and skilled trades exposure!

DEWALT presented a wide variety of tools as part of our tools and materials identification unit. Participants also toured H.J. Martin and Son and Mavid Construction and purchased steel-toed boots in preparation for their upcoming hands-on project build.

Recently, WRTP | BIG STEP’s Northeast WI Outreach Manager Amy Arndt attended the New Jobs on the Block Apprenticeship Signing Day in Wausau, celebrating apprentices taking a big step toward a career in the skilled trades.

Alongside the Wisconsin DWD Registered Apprenticeship Department, Amy connected attendees with opportunities and resources.
