March Meeting: Taylor Flannery: Musky Guarantee Guide Service

We are getting towards the end of our Speaker series for the winter season and we thought we'd finish with a bang!

Taylor Flannery is someone we've wanted to hear speak for a long time. You may know of him from watching clips from Facebook and YouTube. He guides all around the northern counties, especially Oneida and Vilas County. We know that he fishes (and catches) a lot on Pelican Lake.

We have many members who enjoy Pelican Lake, so we figured we'd bring him to town and hear what he has to say.
We'd also love to hear what the "Guarantee" is in his guide service! It may be time to get away from southern Wisconsin fishing and head north for a vacation and hit up some of those lakes, so we really looking forward to this one!

When: Tuesday, March 24.
Where: Machine Shed (Off of 94)
Time: Meeting starts around 6:00, Taylor will start presenting around 6:30ish.
Cost: Free

We will have a nice little raffle of baits and a rod prior to Taylor's presentation.

Please feel free to come a little early and enjoy a meal or beverage at the Shed with all of us!

We hope to see you at the meeting on Tuesday!

Hope to see you all tomorrow!

January Meeting!

Tis the time to start thinking about the 2026 Musky Fishing Season!

To that end, our guest speaker for January is going to be local guide, Joel Michel.

For those of you who do not know Joel, he's one of the good guys out there. Great to fish with, great to hang out with. He's even had his picture up at the Zoo at the aquarium holding a really large musky!

He fishes our local lakes and does very well. He also fishes Geneva and pretty much every where there is a musky lake.

We hope that you can attend!

As usual, the event will be hosted at the Machine Shed off of Hwy 94.
The date will be Tuesday, January 27. His start time will be around 6:30.
We will have a nice raffle prior to his presentation.

Please feel free to come early and enjoy a great meal from the Machine Shed!

We also still need volunteers to man our booth at the Milwaukee Musky Expo on February 13-15. Your help at the booth will get you a pass into the Expo. If interested, please contact Bob Petzke at 262 442 6260 or at [email protected]

One last thing....do you have some musky baits hanging around that you just don't use and that are in good shape? If so, please consider donating them to the club at our meeting in January. We will take them and sell them at our booth as a fundraiser for the club. The benefit to you? Tax write off AND some space back for new baits and gear! Please consider this, as can use all the funding help we can get in order to stock fish into our local lakes.
