Mission Statement/Vision Statement
Mission: Offer to the Community in which it is located a diversified program in recreation & cultural activities for youth, adults and senior citizens


Adult Programs

•Weight Room, Year round
Open during all building hours
No additional fee to use weights. Equipment: free weights, weight machines, exercise bikes, tread mills. Instruction on proper use of equipm

ent when staff is available. Note: Youths age 13 & up who have been given permission by the Center will be admitted. Other children are not allowed in the weight room at any time.

•Women's Workout Area, Year round
A space for the workout needs of women. Equipment: free weights; exercise bikes; tread mills; steps; tapes for Pilates, yoga and step aerobics. Note: Children are not allowed in the workout area at any time.

•Boxing - Open Ring - Adults
M-F 9am-5pm, 7-8:30pm
Sat. 9am-2:30pm
Work out on your own. Fitness/Martial Arts

•Zumba Class, Tue 7-8 p.m. Men & Women, Age 14 & up
Zumba is a fusion of Latin and International music that creates a dynamic, exciting, and effective workout. Join classes at any time

•Open Gym -
Adults: Sept.–May: M–F 9 a.m.–3 p.m.,
M & W 8-9 p.m.

•Karate & Judo, Tu, Th 6–7 p.m., Sat. (Sept-May only)
Age 5–adult
For beginners through advanced
Nominal class fee and a uniform may be required. Join classes at any time. Please speak with the instructors for complete details. Youth Programs

I want to give a shout-out to the Kosciuszko Community Center Staffs and volunteers. Yesterday, it was the Open House event at the center. Thanks to some of the Kozy Advisory Board team members helped out throughout the day handing out smoothies, popcorn, bagels and etc.... I got there after 4pm. I witnessed several individuals who needed help at the center. I have been volunteering as an Advisory Board member for a little over 20 years never saw so many needed help. I also was very proud that the center gave away meals to whoever answered some questions.

Can't wait to see all of you who is attending our annual Breakfast with Santa. By the way, the event is all sold out.
