We have a full selection of markets, festivals and special events from September through December!

This Saturday, find us at the Hartford Farmers Market from 8am–12pm at Jordan Park.

Every purchase of our handcrafted soaps, lotions, bath bombs, salt scrubs and other gifts supports women rebuilding their lives after s*xual exploitation, addiction and or homelessness.

💜 We are so grateful to Der Hoffskeller Coffee for choosing Franciscan Peacemakers as their September tip recipient!

What a wonderful surprise after having the chance to be neighbors at the Thiensville Farmers Market and share a little about our mission.

And we have to give a shout-out to their coffee too! ☕ We brought home some of their coffee beans, and they were AMAZING!🙌

Their Colombian Arabica beans are slow-roasted in cast iron using an old-world roasting method that creates an incredibly smooth, bold flavor. You definitely should give it a try!

If you’re in the area, be sure to stop by the Hoffskeller Barn in Cedarburg and show them some love!

Finding Love on the Streets

We invite you to join us this Sunday to hear Deacon Steve Przedpelski, who retired in 2024 after nearly 30 years of ministry with Franciscan Peacemakers, for a powerful message drawn from decades of walking alongside women experiencing addiction, s*xual exploitation and homelessness on the streets of Milwaukee.

Through stories and reflections from his years of street ministry, Steve will share how grace and human connection can be found in unexpected places—and how compassionate presence and humility can reveal profound love, even amid some of life’s hardest realities.

July was a busy month for the Peacemakers. Our Outreach team had the highest single day count in the past few years - 27 connections made through the street outreach van and 20 visitors to the Hospitality Center. We know that a bag lunch and a cup of coffee meets just a sliver of the myriad needs of the women we serve. However, the trust we gain through meeting these basic needs becomes critical when someone needs help. This week, two people trusted us to take them to seek medical attention when they were having an emergency. We're honored to be trusted by the women we serve and we are grateful for the support our community who makes our work possible.

A Franciscan thought for Monday 🌿
As we begin a new week, may we remember that we don’t have to do something extraordinary to make a difference.

We can choose kindness.
We can offer encouragement.
We can notice someone who feels unseen.
We can bring peace into the places God has placed us.

May our prayer this week be simple:

Lord, help us be instruments of Your peace—bringing hope where it is needed, love where it is lacking, and light wherever the way feels dark.

May we carry peace into the week ahead. 🤍
