MA'RUF MA’RUF is a non-profit organization based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin dedicated to improving the quality of life among Milwaukee’s most disenfranchised.

Ma’ruf is a Muslim organization dedicated to serving individuals and communities in need. As Milwaukee faces staggering economic and social crises, we as Muslims must put our faith into action and make a positive impact. Focusing on poverty alleviation, education, health, and public wellness projects, Ma’ruf aims to tackle the unique challenges of our place and time. For too long, Muslims have ign

ored their natural and vital role in America’s troubled cities. Where other sees crime, social chaos, and desperation, Muslims see fertile soil for Islam to take root. It has always been among the disenfranchised and oppressed that Islam has found an attentive audience. Ma’ruf is an organization that will testify to the truth of Islam through righteous works, rather than empty rhetoric and propaganda. The diversity of Muslims in America should be our greatest strength, but it is often a source of weakness, division, and conflict. Ma’ruf aims to embody the lofty principle of unity through a membership base that reflects our community’s diverse constituencies. Indeed, this is one of the great challenges that Allah has placed before us and Ma’rus is ready to take it on. Ma’ruf aims to develop a variety of social service programs that will benefit from our community’s unique experiences and expertise. We welcome new members from all ages, backgrounds, and ethnicities. You can make a difference with Ma’ruf. Put your faith into action.

Ma’ruf COD and Masjid Al-Huda invite you and your family to join us for a Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich Making Contest. Sandwiches will be distributed to the homeless shelters.

Sunday, February 1st, 2026 at 1:30 PM, at Masjid Al-Huda (5075 S 43rd St, Greenfield, WI 53220).

This is a beautiful opportunity to come together as a community, serve those in need, and earn reward by helping the homeless.
