NAHN Greater Milwaukee Chapter All members are volunteers. Join us! Consolidating knowledge, expertise, and resources will allow us to create greater impact.

Nursing chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Nurses providing opportunities to impact community through health/wellness, youth mentorship, and professional development for Hispanic nurses. The Greater Milwaukee Chapter of the National Association of Hispanic nurses was the vision of four Hispanic nurses committed to invest their knowledge, expertise and resources in order to create and bring professional opportunities to Hispanic youth and Hispanic Nurses in the Milwaukee area. A total of ten professional nurses from diverse specialties, educational, and cultural backgrounds joined forces to bring to life the original vision in January of 2018 as the Chapter's Board of Directors. Greater Milwaukee NAHN Board members have been serving and supporting our community in a variety of ways and measuring their success as individuals.

The Alabama Chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Nurses (AL NAHN) has partnered with the Alabama State Nurses Association (ASNA) and the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) Alabama State Council to offer an educational session on Defensive Charting 🩺⚖️ and we are INVITED!

Documentation is such a big part of what we do, and understanding how it impacts patient care, professional accountability, and legal proceedings matters. Join us for practical documentation strategies, followed by a panel Q&A.

We’re pleased to share that AlzInColor’s webinar, “The Benefits of Early Detection: Why Timing Matters,” will feature neurologist Dr. Charles Windon of the UCSF Edward and Pearl Fein Memory and Aging Center.

This important conversation will explore how to recognize early signs of Alzheimer’s disease, what to expect during the evaluation process, and how timely detection can help individuals and families access treatment, support, and planning resources sooner. The conversation will also highlight the bipartisan ASAP Act and efforts to expand access to Alzheimer’s screening and earlier detection.
