📣 Meet our Board of Directors 🙌

Tracy Mikulsky Ebert has been involved with PLC since 2009, facilitating workshops for 10 years and then serving as Executive Director from 2019-2021. In her free time she loves traveling with her husband and four adult children, spending time with her mom, going up north to her cottage, taking long walks with her dog, and is currently learning Spanish.

To Tracy, peace is hard to define because it encompasses so many things. It is a state of being where people are accepting and kind to one another. It is working together in community to understand one another and doing what is best not just for one but for most. It’s everyone getting along even though they are different from others. Peace is not the absence of conflict but working together to resolve conflict for the betterment of all involved. Peace means an absence of violence whether it be physical, emotional, verbal, gun, or otherwise. Peace can be quiet or joyful. Peace is acceptance and harmony.

📣 Meet our Board of Directors! 🙌

Alondra Garcia is a 1st generation bilingual educator in MPS, a proud daughter of immigrants, and a former DACA recipient. She is a fierce advocate for public education, immigrant rights, and for the most marginalized communities. She is grateful for the community support she has and will continue to bring people from different backgrounds together through peace.

To Alondra, peace means to have an inner feeling of community with yourself and others through genuine and caring connections.

Our Executive Director, Drea Rodriguez, has accepted a new position with WomenServe and though we will miss her, we could not be more excited for her. As a Global Program Officer, Drea will continue living the PLC mission and play a major role in creating access to an improved quality of life for women and girls all over the world.

PLC MKE is incredibly grateful to Drea for her dedication and unwavering commitment over the last few years. She has made possible new partnerships that we will continue to explore as the Board takes over management of the organization.
