Thank you to all of the volunteers who joined us this past Saturday as we participated in the 31st annual Milwaukee Riverkeeper® Spring Cleanup! The N 35th and Congress site picked up 55 bags of trash, helping to keep Lincoln Creek and our Milwaukee waterways clean!

The 31st annual Milwaukee Riverkeeper® Spring Cleanup, including 120+ locations, set a Guinness World Records title for: the most participants in a river clean-up (multiple locations). This accomplishment was made possible by the help of each amazing volunteer!

NWSCDC and Nearby Nature Milwaukee will host volunteers at the Lincoln Creek: N 35th & Congress Street site. We’ll meet by the Bee Bus Line sign. Former NWSCDC staff and board member, Don Richards, will be remembered for his dedication to community economic development in Milwaukee. Richards served as an economic development specialist during his time working at NWSCDC, he helped preserve the Villard Library and had a lasting impact on the organization.
