Thank you to Sharlen Moore , Shawn Rolland and Sky Z. Capriolo for District 15 Milwaukee County Supervisor for coming to speak to our membership and keeping us update to on items effecting our city and county! Thank you for your representation and dedication!

TOMORROW IS THE DAY!

The WHNA Green Committee is proud to present the 2026 Bloom & Groom Plant Sale. A variety of annual and perennial plants will be available for your garden, flower beds and spring landscape projects at the sale. The plant sale takes place outdoors, rain or shine, at the Washington Heights Community Garden (49th & Lloyd) on Saturday, May 16, 2026.
HOW THE SALE WORKS:
• The sale begins promptly at 10AM and ends at noon (or when sold out). The sale is organized on a first come – first served basis with sale limits for each individual purchase.
• Line-up begins at 9:30AM, the day of the sale. You'll receive a number when you get in line to designate your turn for shopping.
• Line-Up and get your number at the NW corner of 49th & Lloyd from a Green Committee Member when you arrive.
• There will be limits on quantities of each plant type that can be purchased.
• Payment: Cash, Credit Card or Venmo
• Arrive on time or early for the best selection. Plants sell out fast.
LOCATION: Bloom & Groom Plant Sale is held next to the Washington Heights Community Garden on 49th & Lloyd Street. 49th Street is a one-way street with southbound traffic flow.
PARKING: Limited street parking on 49th Street and Lloyd Street.
The 2025 Washington Heights Bloom & Groom Plant Sale is hosted by the WHNA Green Committee with sponsorship from the Neighborhood Improvement Development Corporation and the City of Milwaukee.

What’s better than a neighborhood meeting? A neighborhood meeting with PIZZA and ICE CREAM! 🍕🍦 Join us next Thursday at 6:00 PM for the WHNA Annual Meeting. We’ll also have beverages provided by our friends at Vennture Brew Co. This is a family-friendly event, so bring the whole crew!
