We have officially launched into a new Scouting year! 🚀 What an incredible turnout for our first meeting of the season! The Scouts had an absolute blast building and launching their rockets into the evening sky. While the kids were busy achieving liftoff, we covered a lot of ground with our families. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us to get updated on fundraising, ask great questions, and navigate the registration process. If you missed the meeting or need a refresher on the new registration guidelines or fundraising info, don't hesitate to reach out to a leader.
Here’s to an amazing year ahead!

Ten Arrow of Light scouts and six Webelos from Pack 55 went to Camp Long Lake for Webelos Adventure Camp last week. Over four days and three nights, the scouts participated in shooting sports, swimming, scout skills, relay races, and more!

The Webelos and AOL dens are preparing for their Webelos adventure camp at Camp Long Lake next weekend! A scout from Troop 55 instructs the cub scouts while Pack leaders make sure parents are up to speed on what to pack.

Flashing back to early June, when Pack 55 held its Fire Bowl! Thanks for hosting us, Troop 55! Congratulations to all the scouts that advanced to their next rank.

Double the weekends, double the scouting adventures! Pack 55 had such a great turnout for River Rats family camp that we needed two weekends to fit in all the fun! Pack 55 had a wonderful time at Camp Long Lake, where our scouts practiced archery, BB guns, crafts, cooking pudgie pies, whittling, skits, camp fires, and more! Sign up today if you’re interested in the next Pack 55 camping adventure this fall—Swamp Fox!

Pack 55 gathered at Brook El today for a Community Engagement Day. Younger scouts picked up litter along the Bobcat Trail while the older ones weeded the fence line. After that, the scouts were visited by officers, fire fighters, and paramedics from the City of Brookfield Police Dept and City of Brookfield WI Fire Department to see an ambulance, fire truck, and police car and the tools they use. Thank you, first responders!

Another successful Winter Cabin Camping trip! Despite not quite getting enough snow for sledding, we still managed to have a fantastic weekend of board games, camp food, endless campfire ghost stories, Nerf gun ranges, hiking, model trains, and a lot of laughs! A special thank you to Mr. Haedt for serving as our Camp Coordinator once again this year.

Here are some scenes from Pack 55 events so far in 2026. Fast cars at the Pinewood Derby, followed by a fun party a couple weeks later at the Blue and Gold Dinner. Many thanks to all the scout leaders who made these events possible.

Yesterday, scouts from Pack 55 got to take a private tour of American Family Field, home of the Central Division champion Milwaukee Brewers. The tour highlighted special behind-the-scenes locations, such as the playing field, the visitors dug out where the Cubs sat while being knocked out of the playoffs and the phone where Craig Counsell called for relievers after his starters got roughed up by the Brewers’ bats. We also visited the bullpen, Press Box, broadcast booth, a suite, and the media room where two-time NL manager of the year Pat Murphy holds press conferences!
