Another successful Winter Cabin Camping trip! Despite not quite getting enough snow for sledding, we still managed to have a fantastic weekend of board games, camp food, endless campfire ghost stories, Nerf gun ranges, hiking, model trains, and a lot of laughs! A special thank you to Mr. Haedt for serving as our Camp Coordinator once again this year.

Here are some scenes from Pack 55 events so far in 2026. Fast cars at the Pinewood Derby, followed by a fun party a couple weeks later at the Blue and Gold Dinner. Many thanks to all the scout leaders who made these events possible.

Yesterday, scouts from Pack 55 got to take a private tour of American Family Field, home of the Central Division champion Milwaukee Brewers. The tour highlighted special behind-the-scenes locations, such as the playing field, the visitors dug out where the Cubs sat while being knocked out of the playoffs and the phone where Craig Counsell called for relievers after his starters got roughed up by the Brewers’ bats. We also visited the bullpen, Press Box, broadcast booth, a suite, and the media room where two-time NL manager of the year Pat Murphy holds press conferences!

The scouts enjoyed carving jack-o’-lanterns at our Pack meeting tonight at Wirth Park. We also welcomed in some new pack leaders, including Mr. Metzler as our cubmaster. Thank you, leaders!

Pack 55 families had a fun weekend of camping and activities at Camp Long Lake. Thanks to the parents who shared these photos with us. If your family wasn’t with us this time, we hope you can join us for River Rats in the spring!

The Webelos and Arrow of Light scouts (4th and 5th graders) of Pack 55 had a blast at Camp Long Lake.

Pack 55 held our annual Scout Crossover event and celebrated (5) Arrow Of Light Cub Scouts transitioning into BSA Troop 55 Brookfield!

This den completed all of their adventures in Cub Scouting and are now ready to proceed to the next part of their scouting Journey!

Very rewarding night!

Pack 55 had a great night celebrating with our annual Blue and Gold dinner tomjght!! Everyone always enjoys the entertainment for this event and the dinner was fantastic!!
