To celebrate Black History Month, Chris received a special sneak preview of NEW STEM activities being created in Milwaukee County. Explore your Sparks in Art & STEM!

Register for the Fibers of our Future-Weaving Series here: https://go.wisc.edu/u9nz46

Sessions are aimed at those 5th grade and up. They were developed by Helloloom! Creator and professor, Marianne Fairbanks, UW-Madison STEM outreach specialist, Tom Zinnen, and 4-H Program Educator, Rachel Hart-Brinson. Each session will build on the previous one, but you will have access to a recording to watch the ones you may have missed.

Supplies will be sent to you or your County’s Extension Office after registration closes April 27.

Thanks to a Baldwin Grant, there is no cost for this program

You do not need to be a registered 4-H member to participate

Message from the Hillside Horse And Horseless 4-H Club Leader: I want to thank Lisa heck of Breezewood Farms for allowing my Milwaukee County Horseless Horse Project and Live Horse program to continue, both before and during COVID. Without her, the live horse project wouldn’t be possible.
Additionally, since October 5th 2022, Nicky Salamone of Muskego Feed and Seed has opened up the back of her story for both Hillside 4-H and North Star 4-H clubs to start meeting again after two years. Meetings occur at this location on the first Wednesday of the Month from 6p – 7:30p. Hillside makes horse model tack during the meetings. Are you interested in joining the club?
