YLEAD YLEAD was created to empower youth leaders to activate deliberately. We want to be intentional! I long to be intentional!

YLEAD was birthed out of the desire to empower other Faith-Based Youth Leaders to be intentional. So often, we have the passion to teach, counsel and provide resources to assist those who we work with but we have not been given the proper to tools to go along with our passion. God has been dealing with me about being a bridge between the church and the community. We have the power in the church bu

t the community has the resources that we need to be powerful. Bridging the two worlds will allow Faith-Based Youth Leaders to take a holistic approach when ministering to those whom we serve. I have been working as a Youth Leader in the church for 30 years (Yes, I started young) and in the community for the last 24 years. My background in Criminal Justice with a focus on Juvenile Justice has equipped me with resources that the church does not always have access too. With everything that is happing in our world, state and city, we have to be holistic in our approach. Prayer, fasting, and good ole bible teaching sows good seeds in the hearts of our youth. But when we educate ourselves on different community resources, counseling services available, different drug addictions, and on the various sexually transmitted diseases, along with how to identify youth who are struggling with mental health issues, we open the door for intentional impact to their lives.

Join the Iota Psi Sigma chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. for our 4th annual prayer brunch "Radical Faith", on Saturday, November 13, 2021. This year's brunch will feature the incomparable Kimberly Lock, First Lady of Unity Gospel House of Prayer as our keynote speaker.

Anyone who has ever been to an I-Psi prayer brunch will tell you that it is an incredible experience! Each year, the event brings a new spirit-filled engaging encounter that challenges every attendee to go deeper in their faith walk! This year will be no different!

The pandemic and various life situations over the past year should've taught us that our usual way of doing things must change. Now is the time for radical faith! And as we use that faith to wholeheartedly depend on God, He releases his radical miracle-working power in our lives! On the other side of your radical faith is peace, healing, prosperity and restoration!
