We want to sincerely apologize for the unprofessional conduct shown by members of our team during the recent event.
We attended our craft fair in support of PGPU’s mission focused on veterans’ su***de prevention. We were not aware in advance that the event included a shared fundraiser with a local school. When a confrontation developed and comments were made that veterans “don’t matter,” some members of our crew responded in ways that fell short of the standards we hold ourselves to.
That behavior was unacceptable. We regret any disruption it caused and the negative impression it left. Our mission is to support veterans and their families, and we failed to represent that mission with the professionalism and composure it deserves.
We take full responsibility for our team’s actions. We are addressing this internally and reinforcing expectations so that it does not happen again.
As a result of this incident, we have decided to move our spring and fall craft shows to a new location. We believe this change will allow us to continue supporting our community and our cause in a more positive and focused environment.
We remain committed to the work of preventing veterans’ su***de and to treating everyone with respect.
Sincerely,
