Today, WVCC VP, Tom Parr (TP) had the incredible honor of presenting at the 2026 Wisconsin SHRM State Conference at Kalahari Resorts. He was extremely 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱 and 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗱 by the opportunity to share the mission of the Wisconsin Veterans Chamber of Commerce (WVCC) and our Invest in Vets initiative with HR professionals and business leaders from across Wisconsin. Our message was simple: Veteran talent isn't just an opportunity to fill positions—it's a strategic investment in the future of our workforce.

Through 𝗨𝗻𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗩𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗻 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁: 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗛𝗥 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘁, 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽 & 𝗥𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗩𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗲𝘀, we explored how organizations can rethink talent acquisition, strengthen employee development, and build sustainable retention strategies. Our military sisters and brothers bring leadership, adaptability, accountability, and mission-focused experience to the civilian workforce. Our responsibility as business leaders is to recognize that value, open doors to opportunity, and create pathways for long-term professional success.
