CONGRATULATIONS GRADUATES!
SARUP is holding a spring commencement on May 17--live online. We will have the music, the pageantry, and the fun. We will cheer as our new BSAS graduates move their tassels to the left sides of their caps, applaud our M.Arch and MUP graduates, and witness a PhD hooding.

A formal university commencement for all May 2020 graduates will take place on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2020 at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.

This Thursday, March 12th, the UWM School of Architecture and Urban Planning (SARUP) will be hosting another free lecture event in Milwaukee at noon. Jeff Sponcia, Manager of Planning at Milwaukee County Transit System will provide insight into enjoying the array of options Milwaukee’s transportation scene offers, including omnipresent modes MCTS, Bublr bikes and Lime e-scooters.

Current and past MSPA members ventured across the Golden Gate Bridge via bicycles while attending APA's National Planning Conference.

n mid-April, Master of Urban Planning students went to the National Planning Conference, hosted in San Fransisco, and learned about exciting new planning practices both at the conference and by exploring the city.

MSPA member, Josie Willman, received a 2018 FHWA transportation fellowship!

Josie Willman, a graduate student in the MUP program, received a 2018 Federal Highway Administration’s Dwight D. Eisenhower Transportation Fellowship. Eisenhower Fellowships are awarded to individuals pursuing a degree in transportation-related disciplines, are conducting ongoing transportation-related research, and plan to enter the transportation profession.
