Kids Impact Community

Kids Impact Community works to strengthen the Milwaukee community through partnerships and service experiences in an inclusive environment.

KIC families are from all sorts of backgrounds who live in the metro area. We care greatly for our Milwaukee community and we prioritize working together with our children. We believe that working hand-in-hand with our children while volunteering fosters long-term benefits. We host events monthly. Our projects are scheduled to fit the needs of the Milwaukee agencies we work with and the needs of our young volunteers. We encourage our parents (and kids!) to create their own KIC mission based on their passions and interests. Therefore, we do not have a set time or date that we meet for every mission (except for our playdates). We do many weekday events. We also do after-school or weekend events that incorporate older families and we are working on adding more of those. See our blog or missions accomplished page for examples of past missions. Our monthly newsletter updates our KIC families about future events. We also give advance notice of our events on Facebook.

We are proud to announce that Kids Impact Community has been selected as a 2026 Green Bay Packers Foundation grant recipient.🧡This funding will help us with our connecting generations through family volunteering and strengthen our impact through our inter-generational playgroups series.

Our sincere thanks to the Packers Outreach for their commitment to Wisconsin communities and their generous support of organizations like ours.🎉

We had a great crew distributing food with Just One More Ministry to 200+ individuals and families in need of some additional food support.🧡

The food is all excess food from restaurants, food suppliers, Amazon and grocery stores that would otherwise go to waste.🥫

A huge thank you to one of our KIC leader families and their amazing girls for hosting a lemonade stand and raising $37 for KIC!🍋

Every cup poured and dollar donated helps create more meaningful service opportunities for kids and families across our community.
We are so proud of these young changemakers for turning a sunny day into a chance to give back.🧡

We need more KIC families at the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center from 3 to 6PM.
Bring your kids to greet pantry guests, help neighbors shop for groceries, stock shelves, and turn an ordinary afternoon into a powerful act of care.🛒

⚠️Nearly 1 in 6 people in Milwaukee experience food insecurity. The Jewish Community Pantry provides essential groceries and support to individuals and families in need across the Milwaukee area.

All ages are welcome, so grab your helpers and sign up today!

KIC kids ran a lemonade stand last weekend and raised $42 for Kids Impact Community projects. Truly amazing!🧡

There's still time left to host a lemonade stand this summer! This is a great independent family project and helps us continue our monthly volunteer events.

Hygiene kit project recap!

Last week, children gathered to help assemble hygiene kits for individuals facing housing insecurity. We started the event with story time. Next, each child decorated cards to put in their hygiene kits they were packing. After, they went through the assembly line to put together a total of 50 hygiene kits.🎉

These kits will be delivered to individuals at meal service with The Stone Soup Project . Thank you to all the young change makers who used their small hands to make a big difference today!🧡

We had such a great time at the back to school celebration 🎉 with Shechem!🧡

We had fun with tattoos, nail art and create your own pencil pouch. 🎒 It was so fun to see the kids enjoying the new bounce house as well!

We hope everyone has an amazing back to school season! Check out what they're doing over at Hope Street Ministry as well! They've created such a wonderful place in the community 🧡.
