Piglet’s journey didn’t start out easy,after a rough beginning that left him missing a back foot from a trap, he had every reason to be cautious. But if you know Piglet, you know his sweet, gentle spirit & huge heart never wavered for a second. He proved time & time again just how resilient, loving & strong he truly is. And today, all that resilience led him straight to his happy ending! Piglet was officially adopted into an incredible home filled with so much love—including two new fur siblings. To make it even sweeter, one of his new siblings is a fellow tripod! Talk about a match made in heaven. We are going to miss you endlessly, sweet Piglet, but we could not be happier for your new adventure. Happy tails, sweet boy! Go live your best life!

Meet Tiger!🐯 Tiger is a 1-yr-old, 60 lb Great Dane mix & one big goofy lovebug. He’s super affectionate, playful & has absolutely NO concept of personal space! He’ll lean his whole body into you for pets & loves being close to his people. He enjoys other dogs but can resource guard bones, which he’s already made a ton of progress on with training. He’s also working on his leash manners & keeping all four paws on the floor when he gets excited! Tiger lives with a cat & is always trying to convince him to play. Because he’s a big, enthusiastic guy, older kids would be best. He’s a sweet, goofy boy with lots of love to give ❤️ Since Rescue Gang is a foster-based rescue, most of us live in private homes. In full transparency due to unnecessary rescue drama, we would like to make everyone aware that we are currently dealing with a situation concerning an owner surrender.

Last night we brought a dog into our rescue. The owner came with paperwork from her personal vet that showed the dog was tested and treated for a variety of things TWICE in September. The dog was microchipped and registered to this person. The chip originated from a breeder in Illinois. She filled out the necessary and proper paperwork to surrender the dog to us.

It was brought to my attention this morning that this dog was actually adopted out from another rescue in Wisconsin. We are currently in discussions with them.

Please refrain from commenting, messaging, or spreading rumors surrounding this situation until we come to a conclusion.
