“Kis a sweet, happy, and active boy. He can be very affectionate and is friendly and social with other children and familiar adults. K enjoys going to school and to his recreation program. He is easily engaged in play and likes taking part in activities that are familiar to him. He likes any type of play that has music involved, and he loves to dance! K enjoys the swings, going up and down the slide, and playing catch. He likes to play board games when he’s inside the house, especially Operation. However, he is not a huge fan of coloring, so you can keep those crayons packed away! His school reports that he gets along well with other students and the school staff. They all speak highly of K and are happy to give him extra support as needed.

It might take a bit of time for K to be comfortable with new people. However, once he gets to know you, he is easy to redirect when he gets upset. K needs a high level of supervision, and it’s important that his “no matter what family” can take him to regularly scheduled appointments each month. K needs a loving and patient family that will support, encourage and advocate for him to reach his full potential. His “no matter what” family is sure to find joy in watching him continue to grow and mature.”

T is post-TPR and is looking for his forever home, but we are also open to placement in home that can’t commit to adoption, but would like to provide a safe home for T while we find him his family ❤️ T has the opportunity to do pre-placement visits with any interested provider. Please see below for a write up about T from his case management team.

“T is a loving young boy, who just turned 11 years old. T is looking for his adoptive family as he is Post-TPR. T would love a family that is going to go and do stuff as a family - whether that be vacations, sporting events, or a day at SkyZone. T loves Spider Man, Percy Jackson, and Super Heroes. T does like to help in the kitchen, play sports outside, go to SkyZone, play on his tablet, build with legos, and put together puzzles. T has a pretty large puzzle collection. T would really benefit from a structured household, preferably with 2 parents, and children that are as old or older than him. T would also benefit if his home was trauma informed, patient, and has knowledge of attachment in foster kids. T does have some behaviors, but they have been really well managed with more structure. T does well with basic positive reinforcements, and he’ll hold you to it. T has a sister who is adopted, and his brothers live with family. T hasn’t seen them in a while and would like to connect with them again.”

Children’s Wisconsin is piloting a new Bridge Home project and will be holding a listening/info session in February for foster parents to learn more about the program to see if they’re interested in joining the project!
