Community Spotlight: Growing Together in Amani! 🌳

Something great is blooming right here in our neighborhood! Miss Ann, a dedicated Amani resident, had a vision to create an orchard in her block. She had already secured several trees, but the lot was large, so fellow residents Jarvis and Christal West, who also serve as Amani’s Housing and Economic Development Chair, stepped in to help.

Through support from the Good Neighbor Grant from Safe & Sound, Inc., they purchased even more beautiful trees — and headed to Home Depot to make it happen!

The following Saturday, Miss Ann hosted an amazing community block party to celebrate and showcase the power of collaboration, neighborly love, and shared pride in making Amani and Milwaukee more beautiful.
