Today is International Overdose Awareness Day. 💙 We remember the children who have lost a parent to overdose and those living with the effects of a parent's substance use disorder. They carry questions and grief that deserve compassion, real answers, and caring adults who show up for them. We celebrate the parents and caregivers who work hard for sobriety on an ongoing basis and move toward healing with their families. We celebrate each life saved and mourn each life lost.

The 2027 Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute’s (CCAI) Foster Youth Internship Program® (FYI) is now open for applications. Books build confidence, strengthen reading skills, spark curiosity, and give kids a
chance to get lost in a great story. We're so grateful to Ticket to Dream Foundation and
PaperPie who partnered to help get books into the hands of the foster
youth we serve. These stories will help kids keep up with summer reading, discover
new adventures, and inspire big imaginations!
