What I got wrong about God
Do we really believe, unqualified?
Faith unqualified, “accept and believe”

Kori Schake, Director of foreign and defense policy studies, American Enterprise Institute

1 choices and warfare are simple but complex

2 warfare mistakes are policy not warfare. The US has used extraordinary resources overwhelmed policy.

since World War II, we have made 17 times substitute failures – – – Marines do the fighting, issue a small wars manual and say we will continue to do it.

The worst war for us in history was the Spanish American war. The president said we will not get into a war.

US became an imperial power and remains until after World War II. Remote wars a partnership.

After leaving an area, we are valued and have a good reputation. It is our Canadian and Mexican relations that put us in our unique position that can allow and ( strength, overwhelming mistakes.)

The political establishment rules, the military. every German soldier wanted an enemy like the Italians, food like the USA had, uniforms like the Soviet. We had 10 million troops in World War II 45 years of failure after that UN with everyone and a security council is not enough. We need NATO around the world.

A good contrast example for democracy is South Korea with 35 times more GDP the North Korea

We have an institutional lack of trust, narcissism science may have caused it. The belief in the higher power and institution of sort has diminished, but people still seek in many ways belief, spirituality, even in reincarnation.

What to do no answers push back on desires, other people make us who we are think about what those institutions represent.

Milwaukee, Midtown Roundtable 6-22-23

I am most experienced facilitator of Roundtable’s, in fact, our leader.

Subject was “power versus persuasion “or “persuasion versus positional authority”

We had an interesting pre-discussion about a Jesuit schools K-12 this particular one was Brooklyn Jesuit prep only accents low income family children. Hundred percent graduate lots of immigrants, 90% graduate from college. WOW

Ph.D.’s and there dissertation journeys for those who have been involved with a family member or going through it themselves it’s interesting.

Persuasion versus Positional Authority

We discussed the head versus the heart motivation, big subject and interesting maybe ever ending dialogue — the Best Test works so well in so many areas.

Tragedy of the checklist which may negate the element of faith and persuasion, heading in the correct direction.

Expanding your definition of persuasion, apply that to your marriage , we had a lot of chuckles .

Heart feeding the head, lifting the capacity, organization, or others as a focus of your iterations or persuasion the whole issue of having expectations, and how that gets us into a bad slot, you could almost say, lose, lose. We discussed extensively the seed planting with no expectations ,we don’t know how things come out after a discussion but in fact, they always affect a positive way”grouth” ,win ,win if we get the expectation out of the way.

I do not have the answers. I have some questions . As somebody said do what you have to do to improve on the silence.
