Two weeks ago, we kicked off our first Teen Philanthropy Board meeting, and what a great start! Our teens had a blast getting to know one another, building community and creating the board norms that will guide us this year. Stay tuned for all the exciting things ahead! Shabbat Shalom.

Today, as we remember and honor the lives lost on October 7, we’re grateful for the meaningful ways our Shinshinim are helping students across our community connect with Israel - through learning, conversation and personal connection.

Their work in our schools has already made such an impact, and today we’re proud to share this special video they created in commemoration of October 7. 💙

Our annual Jewish Communal Professional Networking event in Tziporah Altman-Shafer’s Sukkah was a hit!

Unfortunately, the weather had other plans, so we moved things inside, but that certainly didn’t stop us from having a wonderful time!

Connections were made, laughs were had, and bellies were full! A great time was had by all. ❤️

This is a fantastic program. Please share with Jewish high school juniors and seniors in Milwaukee. Golan really enjoyed doing this program. It is very impactful.

We had the best time learning with Erin Beser from Adoughma, a program of A Jewish Learning Venture in Philadelphia, during Coalition for Jewish Learning’s Back to School Professional Development session!

Erin shared practical ways to include all learners in our classrooms and reminded us of the importance of being attentive and responsive to different sensory needs. We’re so grateful for the opportunity to learn together and start the new school year with fresh ideas and strategies!
