One hundred and ten years. Think about that for a moment. đź’­

Since 1915, the Junior League of Milwaukee has been a positive mover in our community - empowering women to lead and investing in the fabric of this city in ways that span generations.

From early childhood literacy to civic advocacy, from professional development to neighborhood investment - 110 years of members have shown up, rolled up their sleeves, and made our city more just, more vibrant, and more connected.

That legacy lives in each of us. Here's to at least 110 more.

In 1915, a woman named Alice Chester had a vision.

She believed that women - organized and working together - could change a city. So she built something. Right here in Milwaukee.

What started as a small group of civic-minded women has grown into one of the most enduring women's leadership organizations in this city's history. 110 years. Thousands of members. Immeasurable impact.

Alice couldn't have known what she was starting. But we're so glad she did.

We carry her vision forward: every service project, every event, every initiative, every leader, and every life we touch.

To Alice, to the courageous women of Milwaukee who came before us, and to every woman finding her way to us now: Welcome to impact and friendships that last.

You're Invited: Junior League of Milwaukee Info Session

Interested in becoming a member of the Junior League of Milwaukee? Join us at our upcoming Info Session on Saturday, September 20th at the Junior League House (1060 E. Juneau Ave. Milwaukee, WI 53202). Join us from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM for a morning of insight and connection. There will be a brief presentation highlighting our mission, the meaningful work we do in the Milwaukee community, and the many ways you can get involved. You'll also have the opportunity to meet members of our board, connect with current League members, and enjoy light snacks and refreshments.

Whether you're ready to take the next step or simply want to learn more, we'd love to see you there!
