We're getting there!

Thanks to dozens of generous people and companies in the Rufus King High School Community the Rufus King High School Fundraising Board is within striking distance of its 5 year/$250,000 fundraising goal with 20 months to go.

Namely, since our launch in January 2020, we have raised $161,440 (just over $4000 per month) to support a wide range of projects at Rufus King High School including replenishment of in-class fiction libraries, calculators for the math department, technological tools for the theatre department, uniforms and physical fitness equipment to help RKHS's stellar athletes, kitchen equipment for RKHS's special education program, equipment and training for the RKHS Racers motorcycle building and competition club, and much, much more.

Our fundraising since we launched our campaign has brought us within $88,560 of our $250,000 goal, a goal that we hope to meet by 12/31/2024. We are very hopeful that the broad international RKHS community will come through with ongoing support by making a tax-deductible donation at www.helprkhs.com.

Thank you to all who have supported our work in partnership with the Milwaukee Public Schools Foundation, Inc. and thank you for continuing to spread the word about our activities in the hope that we can achieve our fundraising goal over the next 20 months!

We wanted to make sure that everyone has seen this fantastic piece by Emily Laga on the initiative to bring a fantastic sports facility to the RKHS neighborhood! The Rufus King High School Fundraising Board is 100% behind this project and is standing by to help however we can.
