JUNE RBI PLAYERS OF THE MONTH – JUNE 2026

Please join us in congratulating our Milwaukee Brewers RBI Players of the Month, Laila Luckett and Leonel Hernandez!

These two student-athletes represent everything we hope to develop through Milwaukee RBI: excellence in the classroom, commitment on the field, and leadership within their communities.

Laila Luckett, an outstanding student at Eastbrook Academy, maintains an impressive 3.96 GPA while excelling in softball and serving as a positive role model for those around her. Her competitive spirit, strong faith, and dedication to being her best continue to set her apart.

Leonel Hernandez has established himself as one of the top baseball players in the area, leading his team with a .413 batting average while maintaining a 3.8 GPA. His hard work has earned him a commitment to continue his academic and athletic career at Bryant & Stratton College, and he remains a strong candidate for Conference Player of the Year honors.

At Milwaukee RBI, we believe success is about more than just statistics. It is about character, leadership, work ethic, and making a positive impact on those around you. Laila and Leonel embody those values every day.

Congratulations to both of our June Players of the Month. Your MBC and RBI families are proud of you and excited to see what the future holds!

Today MBC showed up and showed out!

Our coaches, players, and volunteers came together to help run another successful Play Ball Camp, introducing hundreds of kids to the game we love. Events like this don't happen without people willing to give their time, energy, and heart to the next generation.

A total of 22 Milwaukee Baseball Club coaches/ instructors spent Saturday learning from some of the best coaches in the game at the USA Baseball Coaches Clinic.

A huge thank you to Milwaukee Brewers coaches Chris Hook, Eric Tyson, and Mack Erickson for sharing their knowledge, and to Katina Shaw and the Brewers Community Foundation for investing in coach education and youth development.

For too long, opportunities for girls in baseball and softball have been limited. Milwaukee Baseball Club is proud to be part of changing that story.

Through Milwaukee RBI, we are investing in the next generation of young women by providing high quality instruction, mentorship, and a place to develop their skills and confidence. Our Girls Softball Summer Camp is more than training, it's a statement that Milwaukee's young ladies deserve the same opportunities to compete, grow, and shine.

Join us as we begin to balance the scales and showcase the incredible talent that exists right here in our city. Let's show Wisconsin what Milwaukee girls are capable of.
