And now for the news everyone has been eagerly awaiting. The following pianists (listed in alphabetical order) have been selected as finalists and will be competing this Sunday, June 16th in the 21st Annual Chopin Youth Piano Competition:

The 21st Annual Chopin Youth Piano Competition will take place this Sunday, June 16th from 4:00-8:00 pm on the Sobieski Cultural Stage at Polish Fest in Milwaukee, WI. Please join us in celebrating the beautiful music of Chopin and help support these extremely talented young pianists as they compete before our panel of fine adjudicators.

This year’s returning adjudicators will be Adam Chlastawa, Jaroslaw Golembiowski and May Phang.

Hello Everyone!

Thank you to all of the talented young pianists who submitted an application for consideration in this year’s Chopin Youth Piano Competition. We received many outstanding entries again this year!

We will be notifying all finalists within the next two days and appreciate your patience as I am sure everyone is eagerly awaiting the call! Once all finalists have been contacted and confirmed, we will then post the names on our page!

Please note that due to the large volume of entries we receive each year, only finalists are contacted by phone and/or email. Thank you again for your patience!

Greetings to all of our friends of the Chopin Youth Piano Competition. This is another courtesy reminder to all interested young pianists that the deadline to submit your application for consideration in the 21st Annual Chopin Youth Piano Competition is May 15th!

Please know that as long as the application has a postmarked date of May 15, 2019 it will be considered. The application does not need to arrive by May 15th. Save yourself the added expense! There is no need to overnight your package to us and we request that you kindly not require a signature upon delivery of your package. This makes it very difficult for us to keep running over to the post office each time.

Please make sure you send your CD/DVD or flashdrive in a well padded envelope so that your recording does not get damaged during delivery. It is highly recommended that you also make sure to play the CD/DVD or flash drive on several devices to double check that your recording was saved properly. It is very unfortunate when we receive submissions where the CD/DVD submitted was blank or the item was received damaged due to being improperly packaged. Please, please, please make sure you check this carefully before you send your package to us and please take the time to package your item well. You've put in so much time in preparing for this event and it is equally important that you take these extra measures to submit your application so that it arrives in playable and good condition!

Teachers, parents, students and friends of the Chopin Youth Piano Competition there is still time to spread the word! If you or someone you know is or has a talented young pianist who should be taking part in this competition and they are age 18 or under, please let them know about this wonderful performance opportunity!

Chopin Youth Piano Competition is our yearly contest that gives talented piano students from around the area a chance to show off their skills. There is a Junior Division (Ages 10-14) and Senior Division (Ages 15-18) giving students of all ages a chance to compete.
