Growth requires reflection, planning and sometimes necessary changes so we can sustain this work in the best way possible. Our goal has always been to create safe, affirming and impactful experiences for Black women and girls and that commitment remains the same.

Thank you for your patience, your support and for continuing to believe in BLK Girl Space. We are so excited for what’s ahead.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month.

A reminder that your mental health matters just as much as everything else you show up for. The strong friend needs support. The one who “has it all together” deserves rest too.

At BLK Girl Space, we believe healing should be accessible, intentional and rooted in community. That’s why we create safe spaces where Black women can be seen, heard and supported, without judgment.

This month, check in with yourself, set boundaries, ask for help and give yourself permission to slow down.

Real impact takes community and one of the most meaningful ways to support BLK Girl Space is by becoming a quarterly or yearly donor.

Your ongoing support helps us continue providing free healing-centered programming for Black women and girls, including group therapy sessions, wellness initiatives, mentorship opportunities and community events that create safe and affirming spaces.

When you commit to giving consistently, you are helping us build sustainability, expand our reach and ensure that women continue to have access to the care and support they deserve.

No amount is too small. Every contribution helps us continue this work and pour back into the community.

Become a quarterly or yearly donor today and help us continue creating spaces where Black women can fully thrive mentally, physically and emotionally.

Message from founder~

We’re honored to share that BLK Girl Space has received our second grant from the Greater Milwaukee Foundation.

Gratitude doesn’t even feel like a big enough word. This support allows us to continue creating the safe, healing spaces our community deserves.

I’ll never forget one Saturday, a young lady looked at me and said she would rather be in space with us than anywhere else. That moment stayed with me because it wasn’t just about where she was. It was about how she felt. Safe, Seen, Heard and Loved. That’s why this work matters. That’s why we keep going.

Thank you to for believing in our mission and investing in the well-being of Black women and girls because of support like this, we’re able to continue showing up, making major impact in our community and creating spaces black women truly want to be in.
