Not too early to prepare to help!!

Volunteer Opportunities at Tippecanoe Church Divine Intervention Ministry

Location:
Tippecanoe Presbyterian Church
125 W Saveland Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53207

Operational Period:
Open overnights from December 1 to March 31

Volunteer Roles Needed:

1. Overnight host
2. Innkeeper
3. Sunday Afternoon Laundry Ministry
4. Daytime Backup for Extreme Cold/Holidays
5. Organizer of Pantry and Storage Room

Ideal Volunteers:
We are especially seeking volunteers among college students, graduate students, seminarians, and others who have a passion for social justice, public health, spiritual transformation, social work, sociology, psychology, criminal justice, nursing, urban education/leadership, and religion/ministry. Volunteers should be curious, compassionate, and dedicated to helping those experiencing homelessness.

A rotating group of Milwaukee restaurants that includes Alem Ethiopian Village, Amilinda, Lopez Bakery and Restaurant, Pasta Tree and more are called Hungry Hearts.
