Join us for "Nursing in Thailand: Exploring the Health of Women and Children", a faculty-led study abroad experience taking place during UWinteriM 2027 (January 1–17, 2027). Students will have the opportunity to explore healthcare systems, cultural perspectives, and the health needs of women and children in Thailand through an immersive international experience.

📅 Applications are due October 1, 2026

This program is open to both undergraduate and graduate students from any major—you do not need to be a nursing student to apply! More information in the comments below.

Collaboration across institutions is helping shape the future of pediatric nursing research in Milwaukee.

Faculty from UWM’s School of Nursing partner with Children's Wisconsin and regional researchers through the Pediatric Nursing Research Consortium of Milwaukee to advance nurse scientist-led research and improve outcomes for children and families.

From theory-based interventions to the development of the ePed app, UWM researchers, students and clinical partners are helping translate evidence into real-world pediatric care.
