Let’s talk about the engine that keeps us moving. ⚙️🐾

There is a beautiful reality about running a grassroots rescue: we only exist because you choose to back us. Almost Home Cat Rescue MKE is entirely community-powered. We don't have paid employees—just an incredible village of fosters, volunteers, and supporters who want to make Milwaukee a kinder place for cats.

Because we are built this way, financial donations are the lifeblood of our work.

When you give a financial gift, you aren't just paying a bill; you are actively fueling a rescue mission. It gives us the flexibility to pivot the exact moment a crisis hits:
🐾 It immediately covers emergency surgeries and long-term medications for cats pulled from high-risk situations.
🐾 It buys the specialized prescription diets and kitten formulas the moment a foster home needs them.
🐾 It ensures our foster network is seamlessly supplied and our day-to-day rescue infrastructure remains rock-solid.

The next level of partnership: Open a door. 🚪
True partnership goes beyond financial giving. We need our community to help us network. If you love what we do, champion our name! Tag local businesses who love cats, introduce us to community organizers, or share our work with friends who have the philanthropic heart to sponsor a local cause.

We’ve got the hands-on care covered. Let’s keep building the foundation together.

🐾 Helping Pets Stay With the Families Who Love Them ❤️

No one should have to give up a beloved pet simply because they’re struggling to afford food or basic supplies.

Each month, Roxz’s Resources & Awareness partners with Almost Home Cat Rescue MKE to host a community pet pantry, providing free pet food and essential supplies to individuals and families experiencing financial hardship.

Our goal is simple: help prevent unnecessary pet surrenders, support pet owners during difficult times, and keep pets in loving homes.

Both organizations are volunteer-run, and we rely on the generosity of our community to keep this important program going.

🐾 We Need Your Support!

We are currently seeking donations of pet food, essential supplies, and monetary contributions to help keep our community pantry stocked and available to families in need.

Every donation, big or small, makes a difference!

❤️ Ways to Help:

🐱 Donate pet food and supplies through Roxz’s Resources & Awareness wishlist:
