OUR MISSION - The Milwaukee Seed Library's aim is to provide the Milwaukee community with access to free, sustainably grown, and locally adapted seeds; providing everyone the opportunity to grow their own food
HOW IT WORKS - We will be installing Little Free Seed Libraries (like the book libraries) around the city. Community members can take seeds from the libraries collection, plant the seeds in their personal garden, cultivate new seeds from whats grown, and donate those seeds back to the library.
-HOW TO HELP -
This is a very grassroots operation, so we need all the help we can get!
- Volunteer - We're looking for volunteers to do seed sourcing outreach, write brochure copy, secure new locations, and build libraries.
- Donate supplies - We're looking for tiny envelopes, product labels, a printer, wood, small glass panes, hinges, k***s, SEEDS
- Spreading the word - We'd like to team up with local media so the people know we're comin'!!
- Grant guidance - We're looking for grant opportunities that could help us grow. You can send donations to our Venmo,
