This is the info for the upcoming Club Championship being help @ Dretzka on Saturday August 15th.
This will be a 27 hole event with divisions based on handicap. We will not have the exact division breakdowns until we have more players registered.
The goal would be similar to this if we can have enough players in each group.

C – Net (White Tees)

We are happy to announce the next event on Sunday Aug 2nd will be a Stableford competition. If you are not familiar with this format below are the basic rules. I will let Dave assign the point totals for the event, but this will be using the usual handicap format (80%). The event will be from the white tees. With this scoring system once you have reached the max score for points (double bogey) you have the option to pick up and keep the pace of play moving along.

Stableford scoring is a point system. Instead of counting your total number of strokes for a round of golf, you will convert your score on each hole into Stableford points.

Stableford points correlate to how well you play. The better you play, the more points you get.
The number of points assigned to each hole in a Stableford event is up to the tournament committee. A common or standard Stableford point value would be:
• Double Eagle (Albatross): ? points
• Eagle: ? points
• Birdie: ? points
• Par: ? points
• Bogey: ? points
• Double Bogey or worse: 0 points

Schroeder Day - June 6th
The next major club event is Schroeder Day which will take place on June 6th. This event will be the 6-6-6 tee box challenge where each player selects 6 gold tees, 6 White tees and 6 blue tees to play from. To assist players, we are trying to secure an overlay of the course so we can send out tee positions prior to the event. This will allow golfers to come prepared with a plan on how to play in the event. Please check your calendars and if available sign up for this event.

Still time to sign up and play as either a member of the club or a guest to try it out.
