Hello Harold S. Harold S. Vincent High Alumni Association. I'd like to share a few agenda items from our recent Board meeting.
Vincent is presently in transition. Vincent is looking for a new principal to lead the student body, faculty and staff for the ensuing school year. Principal Watkins has taken on a different role for MPS.
The Alumni Association will return to monthly meetings as the vacation season closes and school rapidly approaches.
The Alumni Association Board is looking to install "Members At Large (MAL) to the Board for each of the ten years Vincent has had a graduating class. This would include a MAL for the classes of the 80's, 90's, 2000, 2010 and so on. This MAL position would be a voting member of the Alumni Association Board. The responsibility would primarily be to coordinate all communications for their MAL class year assignments and present them at the board meetings.
We are looking for class leaders, community leaders, reunion coordinators, individuals with a true interest in the betterment of Vincent and have a pulse of "what's going on" in the assigned MAL decade. This is a very vital role! This role will help the communication between the many Vincent, graduation classes and the Alumni Association Board become more obtainable. It will help the board address the pertinent issues concerning the Vincent campus and the Alumni.
If you are interested, please contact any Alumni Association Board Member (Tami Friedl Hovendick, Lesha BossNana BE Coleman, Cassandra Coffer, Angela Lloyd, Garry Coleman or LaMont Walker) by way of email, phone or Facebook. You can find all of the contact information on the official website for Vincent Alumni.
