Reproductive Justice Action - Milwaukee (RJAM) fights for reproductive justice for all! Demands:
1. Complete Separation of church and State
3.

Repeal Wisconsin State Statute 940.04 to legalize abortions statewide
2. Law enforcement shall not enforce abortion bans.
4. State of Wisconsin shall enforce law enforcement to read off Miranda Rights to those being detained.
5. City of Milwaukee and Milwaukee County shall not prosecute, and dismiss, all abortion cases.
6. Community Control over the police now
7. Free menstrual products for humans who menstruate.
8. Public access to all contraceptives.

🚨NATIONWIDE DAY OF ACTION, OCTOBER 8TH🚨

If you’re reading this, you’ve seen other posts demanding justice for survivor Jane Doe in the Cornell case and Kendall Francis in Baton Rouge. The outpouring of support for the survivors is painted with grief, rage, and an unfaltering demand for justice.

SDS UWM and Reproductive Justice Action - Milwaukee invite you to gather at the community room inside the Milwaukee Public Library’s East Branch where we will be hosting an afternoon prioritizing safety, justice, healing, prevention, and recovery. There will be self-guided art prompts and materials, a button making station, light refreshments and snacks, and local + national resources available. This event is free and open to the public.

Bring yourself, bring a friend. Stop in anytime between 12 and 2p.

We refuse to allow sexual and gender-based violence to be normalized, excused, and supported by our government, businesses, universities, and institutions.

Reproductive Justice Action Milwaukee is proud to celebrate the people who show up, rain or shine, to support patients accessing reproductive healthcare. Clinic es**rts help patients navigate intimidating protests, protect their privacy, offer a friendly face, and remind them they are not alone. 🫶

We believe clinic es**rts deserve recognition and appreciation for the important work they do to ensure people can access the care they need with dignity and compassion.

📣 MILWAUKEE AREA: Want to turn your support for reproductive justice into action? Sign up to become a clinic es**rt at a local clinic! Your time, presence, and solidarity can make a real difference for patients in our community.

💌 OUTSIDE MILWAUKEE: Join us in celebrating October 16th! Use this day to recognize and thank the clinic es**rts in your community. Share their stories, spread the word about their work, and explore opportunities to get involved with local clinics and es**rt programs.

Our latest Substack article highlights the need for answers as UW Health and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin continue to withhold gender-affirming care from transgender youth, despite several legal blocks having now been secured in favor of resuming this life-saving care in our state.
But not only are they withholding care. They’re withholding answers from real families who need this care by remaining silent as to when, or if, they plan to resume the care at all.

Catch RJAM with the African-American Breastfeeding Network ( AABN_MKE )for their 12th Annual Lift Up Every Baby event! AABN pulled off another great year offering resources and a place to gather for fostering community.
