Reproductive Justice Action Milwaukee - RJAM Reproductive Justice Action - Milwaukee (RJAM) fights for reproductive justice for all! Demands:
1. Complete Separation of church and State
3.

Repeal Wisconsin State Statute 940.04 to legalize abortions statewide
2. Law enforcement shall not enforce abortion bans.
4. State of Wisconsin shall enforce law enforcement to read off Miranda Rights to those being detained.
5. City of Milwaukee and Milwaukee County shall not prosecute, and dismiss, all abortion cases.
6. Community Control over the police now
7. Free menstrual products for humans who menstruate.
8. Public access to all contraceptives.

GAC RALLY 🏳️‍⚧️ RECAP REEL 🎥
RJAM member Grae did a phenomenal job emceeing this event! We heard speeches from Representative Ryan Clancy, Kelly (RJAM), Jesse (RJAM), Eli (RJAM), and Alejandro (SDS).
Then we led some chants at the park, beaming as cars and passersby gave us honks and high-fives.
We collected signatures for our petition, made connections with lots of new faces and had the pleasure of spending time with our fellow RJAM members, both new and OG.
Some folks marched up the sidewalk to make sure was in earshot of our new collection of chats. 🏳️‍⚧️ 😉
Thanks to and for supporting this action, RJAM’s GAC workteam members for the huge effort put into making this a success, and each and every person who showed up to raise their voice with us!

Four years of resistance—and we’re just getting started.

Join us Saturday, June 27th at Red Arrow Park as we come together for community, action, and power-building. We’ll rally, connect, and then march to City Hall for a vigil honoring the lives lost since the overturning of Roe v Wade in June of 2022.

RJAM members Andrea and Catie attended the Black Birth Symposium at the beginning of May. They learned about many local resources for parents and children in Milwaukee, including ‼️
They attended an Asset Mapping workshop hosted by the Dad Doula; learning how to activate and share the resources that already exist in our community. Joshua is doing amazing work for fathers and non-birthing partners!!
We cherished this experience and the opportunity to attend, network, and learn from local birthing leaders in the city!
