TEMPO Milwaukee TEMPO's mission is to further the impact of women leaders in our community.

TEMPO is the largest professional women's group in Wisconsin, composed of nearly 800 members representing diverse industries, functions and companies from throughout the Milwaukee area and Southeastern Wisconsin. TEMPO serves its membership of executive, senior, C-level and Emerging Women Leaders through educational programming and professional development, networking opportunities, relationship building, and mentoring, with the goal of empowering women to achieve and sustain leadership roles.

Meet our Summer Graphic Design & Content Intern, Emily Knott! ☀️

Emily joins TEMPO from Carroll University, where she studied Communications with a minor in Graphic Design. She's excited to gain new knowledge, flex her creativity, build connections, and learn from a team of inspiring women leaders.

A few fun facts about Emily:
✨ Her family owns a tree farm in Central Wisconsin, complete with pumpkins and homemade maple syrup
☕ Her go-to order is an iced butter pecan latte with cold foam
🎬 She loves spending a day off at the movies for a double feature
🧵 Her hobbies include reading, rug hooking, nail art, and bedazzling
🌎 Favorite travel destinations: Montana, Alaska, and Hawaii
🚣 She's a big fan of whitewater rafting
🎧 Currently loving the Good Hang podcast with Amy Poehler, PinkPantheress' "Girl Like Me," and Survivor

Join us for TEMPO's June Program Meeting on Thursday, June 25 as we convene members, corporate leaders, and male allies for an important conversation inspired by McKinsey & Company’s 2025 Women in the Workplace research and insights from TEMPO's Voices of Women at Work: The Milwaukee Experience study that focused on the experiences of women in metro Milwaukee.
