We are proud to announce our World Water Day 2026 Postcard Art Contest for Greater Milwaukee Area high school and college students. Participants are invited to design a postcard inspired by the World Water Day 2026 theme, “Where water flows, equality grows.” The winning student will receive a $100 cash prize, and the selected design will be printed for our World Water Day celebration on April 18, 2026 at Mount Mary University! Winners (and two guests) will be honored at our event.

This World Water Day, we’re raising funds for the Choacamán III Water Project—an essential initiative that will provide clean, safe drinking water to 178 families in Santa Cruz del Quiché, Guatemala.

For years, the rural community of Choacamán III has struggled with access to safe water. Without a nearby natural source, residents must walk far every day and fetch untreated water from the river, leading to frequent illnesses and poor living conditions. But thanks to their determination and partnership with Asuvi Quiché and GPRW, they’re making a change!

This innovative water project will bring clean water to homes through a 10 mile long combined gravity and pumping system, ensuring better health and a brighter future for this community.
