"Without people in this room, there is no LeRoy Butler." 💛

HOF LeRoy Butler took the stage as a Keynote Convo for STRYV365's 5th Annual Trauma Symposium and told his story of resilience. 🙌🏾 From his mother raising five kids alone, to his sister finding him a shirt, and the teachers emptying their pockets so he could eat lunch.

A Hall of Famer reminding a room full of educators exactly how much what they do matters. 💪🏾

Coach Butler told the room about growing up in the projects in Jacksonville, about the teachers who emptied their pockets so he could eat lunch, and about the people who pushed him to work hard along the way.

He reminded a room full of educators exactly how much what they do matters. 💛

Thank you, Vin Baker, for joining us as a Keynote Convo at STRYV365's 5th Annual Trauma Symposium. 🙏🏾

Having Coach Baker join us was unforgettable! He spoke about humility, about leaning on the people who care about you, and about the daily choice to keep going. 💪🏾

Sixteen years sober, an NBA champion, and still taking it one day at a time. His message was simple: Win today. Then win tomorrow! ❤️🏆

STRYV365 is proud to introduce the Blondell E. Staten Heart of Teaching Award. ❤️

Created in memory of Blondell E. Staten, this $500 grant goes to one Milwaukee Public Schools teacher each year, recognizing their dedication, supporting their well-being, and helping them recharge so they can keep making a difference for their students! 🍎

They can use the grant however they need: self-care, professional growth, classroom supplies, or something just for them. Awards are granted in mid-May! 📅

Know a teacher who deserves this? Nominate them, learn more, or give at the link below. 💛
