Nearly 400 volunteers prepared, packaged & delivered 3,345 hot ready-to-eat meals on Easter Sunday.

As many across our area celebrate Easter Sunday, Community Projects for Seniors is making sure low-income seniors have a hot and ready-to-eat meal. Lisa Fohey joined FOX6 Weekend WakeUp to share more.

We have hundreds & hundreds of beautiful, sweet, and funny Easter/Spring placemats, to be delivered along with a hot meal, on Easter Sunday. We still need about 1,300 more! Create your masterpiece, and donate it to Community Projects for Seniors before April 4. Put your placemats in the blue wagon on the first floor at 3073 S Chase Ave, Building 1, Milwaukee Wi 53207.

Golfers-our 12th Annual Charity Golf Outing to benefit Community Projects for Seniors holiday meal programs, will be sold out soon. Gather your foursome for our fun event on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the Hartford Golf Club in Hartford, Wi. Check out our website for the details.

Laska Dental LLC is hosting a Paper Drive for Community Projects focused on supporting low-income seniors. Each senior will receive a paper bag filled with essential items, and your donation helps make that possible!

📍 Drop off donations at the front desk at Laska Dental LLC

Requested Donations:
🧻 Toilet Paper (4–6 roll packs)
🧻 Paper Towels (1–2 roll packs)
🤧 Facial Tissue (Kleenex)

⚠️ Please no large warehouse packs (Costco-size) so items can be easily distributed.

This charity event is very near and dear to the hearts of many of our staff members, and we truly appreciate the community’s support.

If you are thinking about volunteering on Easter Sunday, and have not yet attended a volunteer orientation & info session, join us tomorrow, Thursday, March 5, at 4 P.M. Just 55 minutes to learn more about our volunteer opportunities. Call Jeffery at 414.708.2413 to reserve a seat. Come to 3073 S Chase Ave, Building 1, Suite 210, Milwaukee Wi 53207. We are at the intersection of Chase Ave and Oklahoma Ave, but our driveway entrance is on Oklahoma Ave. Park in any spot near the old guard shack. If all of the spots are taken, volunteers will guide you to other parking spots. Come on down and see what it is all about!
