The MMU Occupational Therapy program is headed to Belize in Spring 2027!

We have partnered with Therapy Volunteers International (TVI) and the Belize Ministry of Education. This opportunity will allow students and faculty to serve at a local clinic and school. We will support the mission of providing no-cost therapy services to underserved communities. Your donation will support faculty and student travel to expand learning opportunities outside the classroom and put into action the mission to lead and transform the world.

MMU will be expanding hands-on learning opportunities for health sciences students.

We're excited to announce that Mount Mary University was awarded a Title III Strengthening Institutions Program (SIP) grant for $1.86 million, as well as a Nursing Workforce Development (NWD) award from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) totaling $555,372. This week MMU OT students are leveling up their skills one transfer at a time. There’s nothing like practicing safe moves, building trust, and cheering each other on while learning how to support future patients.

We’re still thinking about Ezra Frech's performance on Tuesday night. 🔥

Ezra hit the Dancing with the Stars ballroom for the first time alongside partner Daniella Karagach and absolutely delivered, landing near the top of the leaderboard with their first dance.

And yes, we see a little occupational therapy in this moment too. 👀

Adapting. Finding what works. Taking on something new. Participating fully in something that matters to you.

We love watching Ezra and Daniella figure out together what works for them on the dance floor, while Ezra brings disability representation to one of the biggest stages on TV.

But mostly? We’re here to cheer them on.
