Lazy J Horse Rescue Equine Rescue, Rehabilitation, Training and Rehoming facility. We believe in miracles for both the horses we save and our supporters who love them.

Lazy J Horse Rescue is a Equine rescue, sanctuary, adoption and rehabilitation program for abused or neglected horses, including other hoofed animals. It is our promise to provide a safe, loving environment for each horse with everything they need and allow them time to heal at their own individual pace. We believe in educating the public- children especially– on the importance of animal welfare a

nd kindness. To date we have successfully rescued, rehabilitated, and rehomed hundreds of horses who have all left hoof prints on our hearts.

🐴 Find the solution with Minnesota Board of Animal Health's Equine Event Variance request. Each time you hold an equine-only event you need to apply for a separate permit; however, a variance will save you the time of booking a vet for each occasion. Contact the Board with and questions and learn more. ⬇️

Texas has found his new family!!!
Client is looking to see if anyone would be interested in a beautiful tricolored paint gelding currently at The Lazy J horse rescue for an evaluation. He is on the shorter side. Thinking around just short of 14 hands? So he could be ideal for a smaller lighter adult or a child who knows how to ride. He is gaited, very smooth would be an excellent Trail horse. Does like to move out. If you are seriously interested please PM me.

Meet Ethan,( a beacon of hope and courage,) who bravely faced years of loneliness, neglect and abandonment and recently last year lost his stable mate to severe neglect. We've been fighting for his freedom since just before Mother's Day last year!
Thank you for everyone who helped, you know who you are thank you for the prayers you have no idea how much that meant!
This is just a little reminder, if you see something that doesn't feel right.... say something! You could be saving a horse's life!
