Lazy J Horse Rescue Equine Rescue, Rehabilitation, Training and Rehoming facility. We believe in miracles for both the horses we save and our supporters who love them.

Lazy J Horse Rescue is a Equine rescue, sanctuary, adoption and rehabilitation program for abused or neglected horses, including other hoofed animals. It is our promise to provide a safe, loving environment for each horse with everything they need and allow them time to heal at their own individual pace. We believe in educating the public- children especially– on the importance of animal welfare and kindness. To date we have successfully rescued, rehabilitated, and rehomed hundreds of horses who have all left hoof prints on our hearts.

Those who have experienced the deep connection of a horse know the profound pain of saying goodbye. 💔

If you are grieving the loss of your horse, be gentle with yourself. Healing takes time. Surround yourself with those who can offer kindness and understanding.

And if you know someone walking through this kind of loss, reach out — even the smallest gesture can mean so much. Sometimes, simply being there to listen is the greatest comfort of all. 💕🐴

When you see a sweet sad soul you can't turn them away.
Everyone meet Gigi.
She is in desperate need of alfalfa hay and weight supplements and senior feed and lots of love. Winter is coming on fast, and I am worried.
Please share, donate, ask your church if maybe they would like to donate to a wonderful cause to save the Sweet Soul! Thank you!!

✅ Got your equine-only event planned? Check.
❌ Can’t find a veterinarian to work it? Problem.

🐴 Find the solution with Minnesota Board of Animal Health's Equine Event Variance request. Each time you hold an equine-only event you need to apply for a separate permit; however, a variance will save you the time of booking a vet for each occasion. Contact the Board with and questions and learn more. ⬇️
