Milton High School Class of 1965 Donates Remaining Treasury to Alumni Association
The Milton High School Class of 1965 has chosen to leave a lasting legacy by donating the balance of their Class Treasury to the Milton High School Alumni Association. On behalf of their classmates, members presented a check for $2,840 to support the Alumni Association’s scholarships.
The Alumni Association hosts annual Emeritus Reunionsfor alumni who graduated more than 50 years ago. With this donation, the Class of 1965 announced that they will no longer hold separate reunions but will instead be included in the yearly Emeritus gathering, joining fellow alumni from earlier classes in celebrating their shared history.
Class of 1965 members present for the check presentation included Sue (Dyer) Rivenbark, Craig Dietterick, Ronald Johnson, Donzella (Trivelpiece) Engleman, Mary Lou (Neilson) Keifer, and Linda (Silverman) Johnson.
Representing the Milton High School Alumni Association were board members Nancy Walters (Class of 1956), Reba Buck Rohrer (Class of 1979), George Woodling (Class of 1970), Lindsey Pfeil (Class of 2000), and Kelly Shearer (Class of 2000).
This meaningful contribution ensures that the Class of 1965 will continue to be part of the school’s legacy, as a member of the Orange & Black Society (individuals or groups are recognized as members for any donation over $1,000)
The next Emeritus Reunion will be held May 17, 2026.
