Southern Delaware Therapeutic Riding We are incorporated in Delaware as Southern Delaware Therapeutic and Recreational Horseback Riding, Inc.

SDTR is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization now in its 33rd year of providing therapeutic riding and equine-assisted therapy to children and adults with special needs in the Southern Delaware community.

What an incredible Kentucky Derby Day! 🐎🌹

Thanks to our generous sponsors, in-kind donors, volunteers, and every guest who dressed up, bid on a horse, and cheered us on — our 2026 Kentucky Derby Day raised over $65,000 for Southern Delaware Therapeutic Riding!

This community shows up in the biggest way. Every dollar goes directly to our riders and to growing our programs right here in Sussex County.
