End of Watch Foundation

The End of Watch Foundation board has voted to cancel the 2026 End of Watch Memorial Ruck. The event will not take place October 16–18.

Hurricane Isaias has caused devastating damage in our community. Some of the people who make this ruck possible are dealing with damage and repairs at home. We cannot ask them to set that aside to volunteer next weekend, especially while our local law enforcement officers continue working long, demanding shifts.

We know our athletes, volunteers, sponsors, and those participating in Sponsor an Athlete have questions. We still need to work through the details regarding registrations, sponsorships, and whether any kind of virtual option is possible. We are not announcing a virtual event at this time, but we are hopeful that we can make it happen.

Once power and utilities are restored and our board members are able to meet, we will share details with you as soon as possible.

The officers we planned to honor this year have not been forgotten. Thank you for your patience, and please take care of yourselves and your neighbors.

SRSO Star Foundation is honored to support this incredible cause dedicated to honoring the fallen. 🇺🇸

We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to give back and stand with those who work tirelessly to ensure the sacrifices of our heroes are remembered. Their courage, service, and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

It is our privilege to help honor their legacy.

I want to thank the SRSO Star Foundation for supporting this year’s End of Watch Memorial Ruck as a Platinum sponsor.

The foundation does important work for Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office employees and helps bring the agency and community together. I’m glad they’ll be part of this weekend with us as we remember the officers whose final 10-42 we carry.

25 YEARS LATER. WE REMEMBER.

On September 11,2001, our nation changed forever.

Today, on the 25th Anniversary of 9/11, the SRSO Star Foundation pauses to remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the first responders who ran toward danger, and the countless families forever changed by that day.

We honor their courage.
We remember their sacrifice.
We carry forward the unity that brought our nation together.

September 11, 2001- September 11, 2026

25 years later, our promise remains the same:
We will never forget. 🇺🇸

Grateful for Those Who Support Our Deputies and Our Community

The SRSO Star Foundation would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to MRE — Motorcycle Riding Events of America for their incredibly generous donation.

This donation was given as a gesture of appreciation for the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office FL and our deputies who provided an es**rt through Santa Rosa County during the Missing Parts Ride in June.

What may have started as an es**rt through our county turned into something much more meaningful — a connection between people who share a love for their community and a desire to make a difference.

We are truly touched that MRE thought of our deputies and chose to give back to the SRSO Star Foundation. Your generosity helps us continue our mission of supporting the men and women of the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office, as well as members of our community who need a helping hand.

To everyone at MRE, thank you for recognizing our deputies, for supporting our mission, and for allowing us to be a small part of the Missing Parts Ride. Your kindness and generosity mean more than you know.

From all of us at the SRSO Star Foundation — thank you for your generosity, your appreciation, and your support!
