Learning to drive comes with freedom, but it also comes with responsibility. That’s exactly what the Alive at 25 program is designed to teach.
In partnership with the National Safety Council Southeastern Chapter and the Milton Police Department, this highly interactive four-hour course gives drivers ages 15-24 a real-world look at the decisions that happen behind the wheel every day. Rather than focusing on technical driving skills, Alive at 25 helps young drivers better understand attitude, awareness, decision-making, and personal responsibility behind the wheel.
Topics include distracted driving, following too closely, Georgia driving laws, crash statistics, and the risks that can change lives in a matter of seconds. The program is designed to complement traditional driver’s education, not replace it.
Students who complete the course and pass the final test receive a certificate of completion. More importantly, they leave with practical knowledge that can help keep themselves, their passengers, and others on the road safe.
