The Improved Milton Experience (T.I.M.E.)

The Improved Milton Experience (T.I.M.E.) The Improved Milton Experience, or T.I.M.E., is a community-based, non-profit organization that facilitates Milton's Main Street Program.

T.I.M.E's purpose is to enact positive changes in the downtown business district by:

* promoting and sustaining local economic vitality through support and encouragement of cooperation between Milton businesses, groups and organizations,

* raising awareness of and encouraging preservation of Milton's historical architecture, and

* creating an inviting and vibrant profile of community sponsored and supported events and programs.

Creative Poetry Workshop with Jo Jacoby

Sundays August 10 through September 14 from 2-4 pm
Open to 12 adults

Jo is a poet, printmaker, and performance artist with work exploring personal and social topics, primarily through modes of comedy and satire. Their work has appeared in Rot Magazine and The Prattler as well as multiple local exhibitions in Clinton Hill, NY. They attended Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY for a BFA in Writing and received Honorable Mention for their Senior Thesis poetry manuscript.

Highlights from today's Summer Daze Festival! We had a lot of things stacked against us, but we persevered. A big thank you to the vendors who stuck with us. Forever grateful for artist Martina Bennick and Program Coordinator Maggie Able for the countless hours they dedicated to the project. Thank you to the Art Academy of Milton for bailing us out! (yes, pun intended). I also want to send a shout out to poet and Mocktail shaker Jo Jacoby (and her mom LeeAnn!) for the delicious drinks at Chef's Place. Thanks too to Hava for joining us and sharing her lovely face painting. Thanks to our sound guy, Buzz Meachum, for your expertise and tireless dedication to helping us turn this ship around. I value and appreciate you, friend. Until next year, folks! Enjoy your summer daze.

The show must go on!... Summer Daze is happening NOW! We've updated our band schedule and locations for the day, so be sure to check it out.

We had a few vendors who couldn't take the heat (or the rain!), but we still had plenty of folks show up with their delicious food, yummy beverages, and wears. And don't forget about our Mocktail Bar on the second floor, Chef's Place, Milton Community Center. See you soon!
